Cookie dough truffle

I’ve found myself making a lot of cake pops these days, and I’ve been craving chocolate chip cookies too, so it was only right to combine the two. And boy, oh boy! These cookie dough truffles are….delectable :p

FYI, these truffles don’t have any uncooked dough, it’s salmonella free :p So I’m not going to waste any time and get straight to the recipe 🙂



  • 2 cup all purpose flour
  • ¼ tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup oil
  • ½ cup sugar
  • ¼ cup light brown sugar
  • 1 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 3 tblsp + 1 tblsp milk
  • 1 ½ cup melted chocolate


  1. Preheat oven to 180C or 350F
  2. In a bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Set aside
  3. In another bowl, whisk the oil and sugar (white and brown).
  4. Next, add the egg, vanilla and 3 tblsp milk. Whisk until well combined
  5. Add the dry ingredients to the wet ones and form a dough
  6. Add the chocolate chips and mix
  7. Put all the dough on a baking tray and form one large cookie. Bake for 12 minutes
  8. Once done, take the cookie and crumble it using a fork (while it’s hot, be careful, it can be really really hot :p)
  9. Add 1 tblsp milk to the crumbled cookie and mix.
  10. Once it’s slightly cool (still warm, not hot), form small balls and freeze for 10-15 minutes
  11. After 10-15 minutes, cover the cookie balls in melted chocolate and allow to cool & harden
